ServiceTitan Essential System Practice Exam Practice

The correct action in this scenario is to use the existing address to create a new customer. This approach ensures that the system maintains accurate records of customer locations and avoids the duplication of data. By utilizing the existing address, you can effectively link multiple customer accounts or locations to the same address without confusion.

Using the existing address also helps in maintaining a streamlined database, allowing for easier access and retrieval of customer information. It's essential to have a unified record for each address to enhance efficiency in service workflow and improve customer service. This method aligns with best practices in database management, ensuring that all relevant data is consolidated.

The other options may lead to unnecessary complications. Searching for all locations may be useful but doesn't directly address the need to add a new customer location. Creating a new location only, without referencing available addresses, could result in duplications and inconsistencies in the customer database. Marking the old location as inactive misses the opportunity to integrate existing customer data into the new entry, which could lead to data fragmentation.
